As of recent I have picked up a new, shall we say, interest/hobby/addiction called Adobe and all of its applications. Not only can you find loads of product information but they also have a bunch of other great things like exchanges, community forums, and beta test projects for everyone to enjoy. Do to my constant trek to their web site I have decided to do a review on it.
First off, the site is absolutely gi-normous – and yes Ms. Westberg I know that’s not really a word but I’m gonna us it anyway. I used the site: operator to pull up all of the pages for Adobe.com which came to a total of over 400,000 pages! As you can imagine there is some serious navigation schemes going on there.
As you flow through the site you will notice something – it’s dull. Not all of it but a lot of it is very engineer-ish. Knowing all of the applications that are available through Adobe one would think that their site would be the ultimate showcase. Though, you can notice their plethora of rendering apps sprinkled throughout the site. This was a brilliant plan, knowing that clueless individuals like me would constantly be searching their site for information/instructions. I don’t think a two tone with default black font could have been put together better myself.
